The Epicenter

Went to Kinglake on the weekend to help build a shed for a dude who had his house burn down on Black Saturday. Amazing place, its like Pemberton but it's an hour from Melbourne, and was one of the hardest hit areas of the fire.



Camped on the site, got amazing food cooked for us, drank a million beers, had huge fires, worked a little...




There is so much debris and dead wood around that trucks are constantly going up and down the highway removing rubble and residents are making piles larger than semi trucks and burning off. When I got out to take a photo of this one the residents started chasing us down.
